Our Wedding

Like many modern love stories, Cassian and Justin’s began with a simple swipe.&nbsp;After spending over twenty years in Dallas and never meeting each other, they finally met on Hinge, igniting an instant spark that neither of them could ignore. From their very first chat, it was evident that there was something special. As time went on, during Justin’s busy traveling work schedule, they were able to meet all over the country. Life, however, took an unexpected twist when Cassian received an exciting career opportunity that led him to Indianapolis. They embraced the challenges of long-distance with laughter, countless FaceTime calls, and adventures filled with airline miles, proving that distance is no match for true love. For both Cassian and Justin, family is important. Cassian quickly formed a bond with Justin's children—Caleb, Cody, and Carly—who welcomed him with open arms, reinforcing the idea that they were not just building a relationship but creating a new blended family. While on vacation in Greece, as the sun set over the sea, Cassian proposed to Justin. They decided to celebrate their wedding at a destination, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Justin’s children reacted to the news with excitement and are thrilled to celebrate the weekend with them. With their most cherished loved ones, Cassian and Justin are ready to say “I do” on May 30, 2026.

Our Story

Booking information Guests can book their own rooms online by booking below: Please note this is not an all inclusive resort. Bernard / Carrier Wedding - Start your reservation Guests that wish to book over the phone can do so by calling our inhouse reservations team at 210-558-6500. When booking, guests should reference the name of the event, and the group code is 90N. They will collect a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. Reservations made within the group block are subject to the following policies: Up to 4 guests in each room. After the second adult in the room, there is a $25 additional fee per adult. Cancellations – Reservations cancelled within 3 days of scheduled arrival will be subject to a penalty equal to either one night room/tax, or half of the total room/tax for the reservation, whichever is greater. No Shows – Guests who fail to check-in on their scheduled arrival date are subject to a penalty equal to either one night room/tax, or half of the total room/tax for the reservation, whichever is greater. Early Departures – Guests who check out prior to their scheduled departure date will be subject to a penalty equal to either one night room/tax, or half of the total room/tax for the remaining length of stay of the reservation, whichever is greater. Please note additional rooms have been added. If there are no remaining rooms, please contact us and we will request more rooms to be added.

The situation in Puerto Vallarta has forced us to change locations to a resort in San Antonio, TX. While some media outlets claim that things are back to normal, the U.S. Department of State currently has a a Level 2 travel warning for Mexico. As a result, we cannot, in good conscience, invite our cherished friends and family to celebrate our wedding in Mexico, as we would constantly worry about potential risks. Fortunately, we have secured a new location at a resort in San Antonio. We plan to sign the contract tomorrow, February 26, 2026. The dates will be adjusted to May 29, 2026, for the Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner (which everyone is invited to) and May 30, 2026, as the wedding day will remain the same. Please stay tuned for more information as we finalize the details. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your continued support. We are confident that together we can pivot and celebrate with you!

Important Wedding Update

The reservations in Mexico at Secrets and Dreams Bahia Mita was reserved through individual bookings using a specific link. Therefore, any cancellations must also be processed through that link or by calling 1-800-597-4761. There are no penalties for cancellations. Please complete the cancellation as soon as possible. For anyone who missed the previous update, we moved the wedding to San Antonio, Texas at the La Cantera Resort as a result of Puerto Vallarta being a Level 3 travel warning, we cannot, in good conscience, invite our cherished friends and family to celebrate our wedding in Mexico, as we would constantly worry about potential risks.
